Rod Janssen is Chief editor of Energy in Demand and an international energy efficiency expert.

Rod prepared guides on nearly zero energy buildings and to the Energy Efficiency Directive for European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ECEEE). He has been involved in Europe-wide energy efficiency and renewable energy policy analysis for two decades.

Rod holds a master's degree on International Relations from the University of Western Ontario (Canada).
